She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie F. Fincher (Hopkins) and Albia; her husband Morgan I. Sterner; her children, Rose Ann and Jerry; and her siblings, Sarah Barnes, Paul Fincher and Raymond Fincher.
She is survived by: her children, Morgan Sterner (Eunice) of Ogden, Sven Sterner (Jeanette) of Holly Lake, Donald Brandon (Carol) of New Haven, Donna Accettola of Seattle, Rosalie Taylor (Norman) of Eastman, Georgia, Janet Welch (Ted) of Macedonia, Marsha Bergstrom (David) of Titonka and Margaret Bayliss (Kenny) of Davenport; and her daughter-in-law Carol Sterner of Morning Sun. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Westhaven Community in Boone.
