She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Budd and Helen Louise Budd (Patten); her husband Norman "Gene" Mondt; and her sister Dorothy Ahrens (Budd). She is survived by: her daughter Karen Johnson (Randy) of Ogden, IA; and her grandchildren, Krista Rasmussen-Kinkennon of Ogden, IA, Shane Rasmussen (Gray Morrell) of Los Angeles, CA, Cindy (Lee), Michael Johnson (Dana) of Waltonville, IL and MaryKay McNeely (Troy) of Marshall, IL. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (703 Arden St, Boone, IA 50036). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Boone First United Methodist Church or the Boone Area Humane Society.
