It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren D Appenzeller of Boone, Iowa, born in Corydon, Iowa, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Appenzeller and Hazel Appenzeller (Gordon); his former wife Meredith; and his son Larry. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Joyce; his children, Mark (Barb), Brad (Trudy), Deb (Max) and Diane; and his daughter-in-law Annie. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for local college scholarship funds or directly to Central Christian Church.
