With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LeRoy Behling (Boone, Iowa), who passed away on December 30, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Herman and Elizabeth Behling (Smith); his parents-in-law, Duane and Joselyn Pestotnik; and his sister-in-law Colleen Pestotnik.
He is survived by: his wife Moreen Behling (Betsy) of Boone; his children, Shirley Wirtz (Calvin) of Boone and Bill Behling (Brenda) of Boone; his grandchildren, Kristen Pepples (Andy), Callie Hanlon (Cheyne), Kayla McCambridge (Scott) and Steven Wirtz (Marah); his great grandchildren, Hoyt, Cheylie, Meryn Hanlon, Dylan, Cameron Pepples, Rowan, Brooks, Mia McCambridge, Teagan and Keeley Wirtz; and his brothers-in-law, George Pestotnik and David Pestotnik (Lynn).
Masks are suggested for those attending the service.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Christian Church or the Boone Area Humane Society.
