It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Larry Don Adams of Boone, Iowa, born in Storm Lake, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 75, on October 10, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Harlan and Genevieve Mae Adams (Wilson); his brother Jon Jay Adams; and his nephew Chad James Brensel. He is survived by: his nephew Ryan Adams (Christina) of Jacksonville, FL; his nieces, Julie McGee (Kevin) of Chattanooga, TN and Nicole Smith (Chester) of Des Moines; his sister-in-law Lynn Belluci-Adams of Boone; and his great-nieces, Sophia and Abigail McGee. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Boone Historical Society or the Higgins Museum.

“Larry was such a dear friend. He didn't know anything about football but when he found out I was a Packers fan, he sent me GBP memorabilia all the time. My dad worked for REA Express. He sent me these little trucks and things related to the company and from my home town. Most of us never have a friend as kind and thoughtful as Larry was to me. If you think to, I would appreciate know what happened with him since we talked a couple of months ago. Thank you 614-563-3658. I miss him already.”

“I am just devastated to hear about Larry's passing. Larry and I had be friends for over 15 years. We got together when he come to DC a couple of times but always kept in touch by phone ore messaging. I hadn't hear from him in a while and tried to call him today and when I discovered his phone was not active, my heart sank because I had a feeling he had left this world. I am sure going through his life belongings will be a challenge. Just know he was a wonderful friend to me.”
