He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill K. Springer and Mildred Springer (Tolliver); his son Kevin; his close friend Laura Springer; and his sisters, Carol Snider, Helen Hall and Judy Reed.
He is survived by: his former wife Laura Lundberg; his children, Jeff Springer (Tena) of Winter, WI and Kerin Peterson (Mike) of Boone, IA; his grandchildren, Erik Springer of Boone, Brandon Peterson of Boone and Michelle Peterson of Boone; his sister Joyce Appenzeller (Loren) of Boone; and his pet Skipper. He is also survived by many loving extended family members, countless friends.
