It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Alevantis (Boone, Iowa), born in Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on April 29, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Leo and Marjorie W. Gibbs (Talcott); and her siblings, Pat Gibbs and Phil Gibbs. She is survived by: her former husband Leon Alevantis; her son Dimitri Alevantis of Sacramento; and her siblings, Joe Gibbs (Leigh Ann) of Boone and Francine Gibbs of Boone. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
