We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2018, at the age of 45, Jody Smith (Boone, Iowa), born in Mount Ayr, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Wendell Scott, John Smith and Beatrice Smith; and also Ricky Scott. She is survived by: her spouse James Smith-VanDeren; her children, Adam Coy of Boone and Alisyn Smith of Boone; her parents, Patsy Smith of Boone and Larry Smith of Boone; her granddaughter Lila Coy of Boone; her brothers, Richard Smith (Marcie) of Boone and Larry Smith of Clarinda; her niece Trevor Smith of Boone; and also, Briley Smith of Boone and Lexi Smith of Boone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
