She was predeceased by: her parents, James McHugh and Mary Beatrice McHugh (Lyons); her brother-in-law Bob McNace; and her nephew Thomas McNace. She is survived by: her siblings, RoseMary McNace and James McHugh, Jr. of Boone; and her nieces and nephews, John McNace (Cheryl) of Boone, Michael McNace (Pati Bartholomew) of Boone, Michael McHugh (Lori) of Louisville, Jamie McHugh (Monica) of Zwingle, Iowa, Mary Youngblood (Dick) of Boone and Ann Wright (Vern) of Boone. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Due to the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, a Memorial Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone and burial of her cremains will be held at a later date.
