He is survived by: his wife DeeAnn Monen (Fatka) of Boone; his son Jay Monen (Jenny) of Boone; his stepdaughter Heidi Bryant (Matt) of Boone; and his brother Bill Monen (Sandy) of Boone. He is also survived by four grandchildren*/ and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
