She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur "Web" Davis and Joy O. Davis (Pitfield); and her daughter Julie Ann Marie Achenbach. She is survived by: her husband Gary F. Achenbach of Boone; her children, Brian Achenbach of Waukee, Brent Achenbach (Julie) of Woodward and Sara Achenbach of Rochester, MN; and her brothers, Ken Davis (Mary) of Buda, TX and Mike Davis of Boone. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or Boone Area Humane Society.
