It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis L. Anderson of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon "Bud" Stark and Maurine Stark (Poulson); her husband Thomas; and her son Travis Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Wilhem (Chris) of Woodburn, Jerry Wilhelm of Boone, Natalee Holth of Boone, Dusty Anderson of Boone and Tracy Anderson (Becca) of Boone; her grandchildren, Nicole Strange (Matt), Melissa Brown (Jeremiah), Stacy Luhrs (D. J.), Jeffrey Thomas-Wilhelm (Dakota), Chelsea Wilhelm (Kolt Breer), Abby Sorber, Chanin Wilhelm (Zach Larson), Thomas Clabaugh, Parker Taylor, Wyatt Anderson, Ian Anderson and Avery Anderson; her sister Janell Wellhausen (Paul) of Glen Carbon, IL; her nephew Ted Wellhausen (Megan); and her niece Katie Jumper (Dustin). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
