It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Schroeder of Boone, Iowa, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Schroeder (McCoy) and Harry Walter Schroeder; and his brother Richard Schroeder (late Patricia). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Rose; and his children, Sandy Burm (Jim) of Marion and Nancy Hoshaw (Darle) of Forest City, Iowa. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
