He is survived by: his children, Dawn "Shelli" Smiley of Boone and Chuck Coffman (Elaine Schrunk) of Boone; his grandchildren, Aaron Smiley (Andrea), Austin Smiley and Alyssa Smiley; and his great grandchildren, Jonathon, Ashlyn, Jenna, Lauryn, Cadyn and Ethan.
