It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Jacobson (Boone, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byrnes and Marguerite Byrnes (Jansen); her husband Marvin Jacobson; her brothers, John "Jack" Byrnes (LaVonne), Edward Byrnes (Phyllis) and James Byrnes (Shirley); and her brother-in-law James Hilt.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew John "AJ" Jacobson of San Diego, CA and Ramona "Mona" Kay Moore (Perry) of Boone; her siblings, Thomas Byrnes (Jean), Mary Hilt, Gertrude Stuempfig, Carline Hurst, Frances Jahani, Angela Gomez (Lee), Paul Byrnes (Betty) and William Byrnes (Kathleen); her niece Mary "Molly" Byrnes; and her great-nephew Jeff Byrnes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
