She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul F. Comfort and Harriet D. Scott; her husband Chester N Whitmore; her stepdaughter Donalee Mayne; her son Paul Whitmore; and her brother Paul Richard Comfort.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty; her daughter-in-law Cris Whitmore of Webster City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Sheridan, Aaron, Jory, Travis, Camarra, Becky, Brian, Scott and Kelly; and also, Donalee and Carolyn. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
