He is survived by: his caregiver Carol; his wife Carol Forster of Boone, IA; his sister Carol Lynn Crouse (Dale) of Boone, IA; his children, Jeff Forster (Mary Beth Scott) of Boone, IA, Mike Forster of Boone, IA and Brenda Hakanson (Bo) of Grundy Center, IA; his grandchildren, Gunnar Forster (Grace) of Ankeny, IA, Jaden Hakanson of Grundy Center, IA and Hollie Wu; and his great grandchild Jennie of Cedar Falls, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
