We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2019, at the age of 89, George Anthony Hope (Boone, Iowa), born in Forest City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hope and Ingeborg Hope (Sandsmark); his wife Verna Garrison of Hampton; and his son Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Jones (James) and Michael Hope (Susan); and his grandchildren, Andrew Jones, Kristina Griffin (Jonathan), Sarah McKenzie (Justin), Anna Hope and Jonathan Hope.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's name may be directed to Augustana Lutheran Church, 309 S. Greene Street, Boone, Iowa.
