In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wiebers and Elaine Wiebers (Kuehl); his brother Ron; and his son Jamie (Slick). He is survived by: his children, Amanda Gross (Mike) of Boone, Jodi Hummer (Ben) of Hinsdale, Baillie Wiebers (Brian Click) of Kansas City and Rylee Wiebers of Boone; and his brother Rick Wiebers of Center Junction. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel (1006 6th St, Boone, IA 50036).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Lung Association in honor of Gary's fight against lung cancer.
