She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustaf Abramson and Judith Abramson (Turnell); her son Bernard Neimczyk; her spouse Jesse Broome; and her siblings, Harold Abramson, Ruth Davidson and Pearl Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Broome; and her grandson Joshua Thornsberry. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
