She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garvin and Clara Garvin (Bentley); her spouses, Wayne Richmond and Merritt Butrick; her son Kenneth Richmond (Geraldine); her grandson Marty Joe Mondt; and her brothers, Edwin Garvin, John Garvin, Roger Garvin, Gerald Garvin and Jim Garvin.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Richmond (Kay) of Boone and Shirley Peterson (Pete) of Urbandale. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 23 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
