It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erling D. Larson of Boone, Iowa, born in Stratford, Iowa, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Larson and Lucille Larson (Anderson); his wife Carolyn Larson (Skip); and his niece Kristen Myers. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Larson (Pam) of Roscoe, IL, Lisa Doud (Denny) of Polk City, IA, Jay Larson (Alison) of Boone, IA and Lori Hopkins (Tim) of Boone, IA; his sister Janet Myers (Ernest) of Johnston, IA; and his sister-in-law Dianna Sutton (Curvin) of Boone, IA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family to be used at their discretion.
