It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Kay Wilcke of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buchman and Hazel Buchman (Hayworth); her husband Walter Wilcke; her children, Kay Marie Pilk and Ron Ball; her siblings, John "Buck" Buchman, Larry Hill and Pat Peterson; and her great grandchild Savannah Kay Pilk.
She is survived by: her children, Peewee, Pumpkin, Tequila, Roy Ball (Teresa) of Boone, IA, Kelly Ball of Des Moines, IA, Kathy Blueford of Fresno, CA and Judy Wilcke-Stroman of Sioux City, IA; and her sister Carol Avey of Neveda, IA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, as well as one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials area suggested to the family to use at their discretion.
