She is survived by: her children, Kris Latham (Tim) of Mason City, IA, Kathleen Johansson (Bjorn) of Gimdalen, Mary Howe of Boone, IA and Becky Carlisle (Bill) of Racine, WI; and her grandchildren, Travis York (Kim) of Atlanta, GA, Tyler York (Jen) of Grimes, IA, Todd York (Shanna) of Grimes, IA, Henrik Johansson (Kristin) of Gimdalen, Caroline Pettersson (Johan) of Nordannälden, Katie Kuehner of Des Moines, IA, Ben Howe (Erica) of Hudson, IA, Jon Howe (Laura) of Ankeny, IA, Jennifer Hell (Tim) of Racine, WI and Holly Georgeson (Alex) of Racine, WI. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Augustana Lutheran Church (309 S Greene St, Boone, IA 50036). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone.
