She is survived by: her children, Donnie Porter, Leah Porter of Pilot Mound, Dwayne Miller of Boone, Darryl Miller of Boone, Tim Porter, Edna Porter of Des Moines, Kerry Pennington and Marcy Pennington of Boone; her grandchildren, Brick Porter of Pilot Mound, Justin, Nicole Miller of Boone, Dylan Trotter of Colorado, Tim, Eric Porter of Boone and Cheryl Ray of Des Moines; her siblings, Randy Kester of Ogden, Dennis Kester, Louie Kester of Boone, Rowena Bray, Bob Bray of Boone, Kathy Martin, Burdell Martin of Boone, Carol Smith and Jake Smith of Guyton; and her pet Spur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Boone Area Humane Society in memory of Jeannie.
