He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shuey and Gladys Shuey (Edmunds); his sisters, Norma Karr, Mary Rath, Betty Annan, Delores Shuey and Jo Ann Desher; and his grandsons, Travis Duehring and Todd Eslick.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Merrill; his daughters, Colleen Eslick (Richard) of Dayton and Pat Duehring (Marlin) of Boone; his grandsons, Bradley Eslick (Mary) of Dayton, Ryan Eslick (Lindsay) of Lehigh and Curtis Duehring (Shelby) of Boone; and his great grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Michael, Nolan, Corbin, Ryker Eslick, Austin Duehring, Lauren and Avery Eslick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In memory of Bud, memorials may be directed to the family.
