We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2020, at the age of 94, Donald Leroy Erb of Boone, Iowa, born in Cooper, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Erb and Stella Erb (Van Cleave); his wife Helen Erb (Hedblom); and his sisters, Lucy Birchfield, Juanita Kester and Glenn Schwolow of Chicago.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Haberkorn and LaVern Erb (Trudy) of Hollister Missouri; his children, Steve Erb (Sherry) of Boone, Bob Erb (Janet) of Boone, Dennis Erb (Sharon) of Boone, Barb Dohrman (Wayne) of Boone, Brenda Stanley of Boone and Jeff Erb (Jo) of Boone; and his foster son Jeffrey of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Squire Boone Cemetery or to the family to use at their discretion and can be sent to C/O Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 116, Boone, IA 50036.
