He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Sharon Sandelius Herron; his parents, Elsie Shaw and Lawrence Shaw; his granddaughter Kaitlin Shaw St. Clair; his son-in-law Frank Hertzog; his grandson-in-law Erik Bernstein; and his sister Eleanor Younggren (Shaw).
He is survived by: his brother Rev. James Edwin Shaw; his daughters, Nancy Lynne, Deborah Lee, Laura Christine, Nanci Shaw, Debbie Hertzog (Frank) of Eagle, ID and Laurie St (Charles); his grandchildren, Kellie Vugrincic, Jennifer Bernstein (Tom McCay), Ryan St (Carmon), Kaitlin St. Clair, Corey St (Crystal), Christian Hertzog (Karli) and Jeremy Hertzog (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Adelynn St. Clair, Dominic Vugrincic, Lacey, Jacob, Charlotte St. Clair, Sawyer, Ozzie and Winnie Hertzog.
