He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Amos Ball and Edna Victoria Cole (Johnson); his siblings, Jim, Walter, Raymond, Sharon Cole and Alice LeQuia (Joe); and his brother-in-law Rawleigh Mowrer.
He is survived by: his stepparent James Ernest Cole; and his sisters, Pearl Cole of Boone, Betty Mowrer of Boone and Shirley Culberhouse of Roseburg, OR. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
