He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Quam (Hassebrock) and Gordon Quam; his uncles, Wayne Hassebrock (Barbara) and Nolan Quam (Linda); his grandparents, Minnie, Truman Quam, Edith and Ted Hassebrock; his uncle Harold Hassebrock; his cousin Daniel Hassebrock; and his father-in-law John Shedd.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Gordon and Ryan John; his wife Christine Shedd; his sister Debra Quam Martino (Joseph); his nephew Jack; his niece Grace; and his mother-in-law Barbara Shedd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First United Methodist Boone, or Israel Family Hospice House (400 South Dakota Ave, Ames, IA 50014) or the charity of your choice.
