He is survived by: his close friend Louie Valenciano; his brother Randy Kester of Boone; and his siblings-in-law, Penny Kester of Boone, Nancy Taghlebi of Richmond, Texas and Amer Taghlebi of Richmond, Texas.. He is also survived by nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
