He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean F. Metcalf and Pat Metcalf (Montgomery); his former wife Cynthia "Cid"; his brother-in-law Bob Thede; and his uncle Morris "Mike" Montgomery.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Keys-Thede of Boone, Gene Keys (Karen) of Loveland, CO and Mike Metcalf of Boone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
