He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pottratz and Dorothy Pottratz; and his wife Donna Pottratz (Bennett). He is survived by: his children, Joy, Dan and Jill Accardo of Oswego; and his grandchildren, Colleen, Claire Accardo, Jeremiah, Jonah Eldridge, Atticus, Axel, Lars, Magnus and Astrid Pottratz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Boone Area Humane Society Foundation and Trinity Lutheran Church.
