He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gustafson and Elizabeth Gustafson (McMahon); and his siblings, Kathryn Miller, Ronald Gustafson and Daryl Gustafson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Gustafson of Boone; his children, Gregory Gustafson (Nikki) of Boone, Jeremy Majors (Kathleen) of Ocala, FL and Kristine Seeman (Eric) of Boone; his grandchildren, Devin, Shelby, Alecia, Alex, Daniel, Melina, Jessa, Nate, Zachary, Samantha, Katrina, Andrew and Isaac; his great grandchildren, Alayna, Jonathan, Kolton, Cecilia and Holli; his siblings, Barbara Ginther of Waukee, Gary Gustafson (Beth) of Boone and Richard Gustafson (Tammy) of Boone; his mother-in-law Shirley Powers of Boone; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Cooper of Ames and Carol Boucher of Boone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
