She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Anderson and Bessie Anderson (Lamb); her husband Bob; and her sister Mary Sellers. She is survived by: her sons, Richard C. Atherton (Marcia) of Durham, NC and Robert J. Atherton (Bonnie) of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Chad Atherton (Ashley) of Spencer, IA, Julie Bishop (Jeff) of Denver, CO, Adam Atherton (Dana) of Durham, NC and Ryan Atherton (A. J.) of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Caden, Paisley, Theo, Cyrus, Luca and Miles Atherton; and her sister-in-law Margaret Harvey of Boone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
