It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Wayne Lucas of Boone, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde William and Haroldyne Mae Lucas (Troxel); his in-laws, Bob and Betty Rossmiller; and his brothers-in-law, Tom, Pat and Ken Rossmiller.
He is survived by: his son Benjamin Thomas (Katie Anthony) of Ankeny, Iowa; his wife Jeanne Lucas of Boone; his siblings, Beth Irwin (Virgil) of Illinois City, Illinois and Glen Lucas of Muscatine; his pets, Butterscotch and Sunny; and also, Tim (Jean) of Davenport, Dan (Diana) of Davenport, Sue Murrow (Charles) of Davenport, Sharon McIntyre of Davenport, Karen Newlon of Davenport, Mike (Marta) and Marianne Kelso (Tim) of Woodstock Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; many friends.
