He is survived by: his wife Sharon Egeland of Boone; his sons, Dan Egeland (Patsy) of Clarks, NE and Dale Egeland (Kari) of Boone; his brothers, Orlene Egeland of Story City and Irving Egeland (Sarah) of Ankeny, IA; and his grandchildren, Madelin Scheidt (Cody), Jacob Egeland, Katie Egeland and Zachary Egeland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
