It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony William Davis of Boone, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene D. Davis and Cathy Sturtz (Weichman); his stepfather Eldon Sturtz; his stepson Matthew Capek; his brother-in-law Randy Walker; and his nephew Jason McNace.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Davis of Boone; his daughter Jessica Jarrell of Sheridan, Wyoming; his siblings, Eugene "Joe" Davis (Diane) of Grand Junction, Lorraine Walker of Boone, Mary Burgar (Joel) of Columbus and Burdean McNace (Jim) of Boone; and his stepdaughter Misty Forehand (Eric) of Lutz, Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two nieces and five nephews.
