She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Martin and Etta Martin (Elsberry); her husband James Whittlesey of Boone; her siblings, Gerald, Raymond, Albert, Wallace, Richard Martin, Maxine Duncan, Hazel Peterson and Diane Riffel; and her son-in-law William Vinson.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Vinson of Boone, Susan Kanefield (Ken) of Porto, Portugal, Steven of Boone and Jeffrey (Lee Ann) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Emily Kastiel (Vinson), Clayton Vinson of Fort Collins, CO, Cooper Whittlesey of Chicago, IL, Maxwell Kanefield and Alyssa Kanefield of Minneapolis, MN; and her brother William Martin (Gerrie) of Boone.
