He is survived by: his son Brett Mendenhall (Cheryl) of Des Moines; his wife Barbara Bailey; his grandchildren, Kristina Sittsworth (Alex) and Bryan Rees (Haleigh); his great grandchildren, Joshua Sittsworth, Derek Rees and Tyler Rees; and his nieces, Lori Mally and Judi Mendenhall.
