He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ellis and Nora McCleary (Thomas); and his siblings, Roy, Morris, Abe, Madeline and Darlene.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy McCleary (Sprague); his stepdaughters, Karen and Nora; his daughter Robin McNichols (Mike); his grandchildren, Laura and Allison (Brandon); his great grandchild Nova Birdsall; his son Bret (Becky); his granddaughters, Hannah McCleary and Rachel Owens (Ryan); and his brother Ward E. of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
