It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Wilden Schmitz of Bondurant, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Frederick Schmitz and Ethel Amerett Winey; his wife Bonnie; and his great grandchildren, Damon Olson and Jared Peters.
He is survived by: his daughters, Trudy Field of Thayer, Janet Wildrick (Alan) of Bondurant, Becky Olson (Jerry) of Murray and Babby Schmitz of Bondurant; his grandchildren, Scott Field (Janelle) of Clarion, Shawn Field (Ali) of Thayer, Kim Tucker (Jeff) of Bondurant, Stacy Wildrick (Bill Beukema) of Urbandale, Kristin Peters of Bondurant, Jennifer Westlake (Michael) of Thayer, Jacob Olson (Rose) of Thayer and Whitney Tibboel (Ian) of Bondurant; and his sisters, Jean Stone, Joyce Evans, Coralee Johnson and Patty Osgood. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great- grandchildren.
