He is survived by: his spouse Gail Salyers; his children, Tony Westercamp (Rebecca) of Mt. Sterling, Christine (Eric), Keith Westercamp (Sara) of Bonaparte and Amanda Bates (Neil) of North Liberty; his grandchildren, Cody (Tawsha), Tyler (Samantha), Nicholas (Amanda), Danielle (Ian), Tayler, Kaylee, Emma, Paige, Kera, Jonah and Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jamie, Keiten, Peyton, Addison, Aiden and Bentley; and his siblings, Velma Caston, Audrey Caston, John Charles, Rex, LaVerne, Marvin and David Westercamp.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
