It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Mary Wenke of Bonaparte, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy B. Anderson and Ruth Caroline Anderson (Hughes); her husband Ferdinand Joseph Wenke; and her brother Charlie Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Susan Spencer (Gary) of Fort Madison, Sam Wenke (Rita) of Bonaparte, Cynthia Eden (Rick) of Bonaparte, Sarah Wenke (Mike McWilliams) of Ottumwa and Steve Wenke of Bonaparte, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kristina, Sandra, Eric, Adam, Shelley, Amy, Matthew, Amber and Victor; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Wenke of Bonaparte and Elizabeth O'Conner of Hamilton, Illinois.. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
