He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Elliott and Rose Elliott (Anderson); and his daughter Patricia Rose Lacy. He is survived by: his wife Margo Elliott (Stone); his children, Dean Boughner (Tami), Libby Boughner (Mitch Wynschenk) and Angela Elliott (Joe Holton); his son-in-law Travis Lacy (Natalie Lacy); his grandchildren, Austin Gire, Joshua Boughner, Jordan Gire and Aiden Lacy; his great grandchildren, GraceLynn and Bentley; and his siblings, Marilyn Thomas, Zelma Muntz, Junior, Francis and Dean.
