He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rex and Anna Wenke Rex; his brother Joe Rex; and his sister-in-law Sue Rex. He is survived by: his close friend Dixie Wenke of Bonaparte, IA; and his brothers, John Rex (Carolyn) of Fulton, MO and Jay Rex of Bonaparte, IA.
