He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Keller and Hazel Olson Keller; his wife Mary Alice Keller; and his brothers, Harold, Wayne and Verne Keller (Leah McCracken).

He is survived by: his children, Eddie Keller of Keosauqua, IA, Stanley Keller of Des Moines, IA, Bonnie LaCerra (Larry) of Chesapeake, VA and Sally Keller (Wayne Jertson) of Blair, NE.

Memorial contributions in Gerald's honor may be directed to the Bonaparte Cemetery Association or to the Bonaparte First Responders and may be mailed to P.O. Box 152, Bonaparte, IA 52620.
