She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Roy Thompson and Clara Ethel Dorson Thompson; her grandparents, Otto, Clara Dorson and Milton; her children, Kenneth (Astrid) of Fairfield and Shirley (Steve Shriver) of Bonaparte; her grandchildren, Benjamin Burns of Redding, California, Joshua Burns of Spokane, Washington, Heather Benedict of Shelton, Washington, Jennifer Rowe of Willard, Missouri, Megan Lynn of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Scott Bartholomew of Keosauqua and Andy Bartholomew of Keosauqua; her stepmother Geneva McCash; her grandson Michael Bartholomew; and her sisters, Juanita Meyer, Alice Louise McCumber and Alberta Ruth Thompson. She was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
