Ernest Gales Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2022, at the age of 93, Ernest Gales (Bode, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Gales and Veronica Dockendorf Gales; his wife Helen; his children, Mary Helen Gales, John Gales and Mary Louise Gales; his sister Marjorie Gales Capesius; and his brother-in-law John Capesius.
He is survived by: his friend Helen Bormann; his children, Stephen (Elizabeth Gales), Cecilia (Stephen House), Minn, Paul Gales of Phoenix, Ariz, Dolores (Art Cullen), Charles (Elizabeth Gales), Penn, Barbara (Dan Haag), Wis, Carol Gales (Jim Dory) and Steve Rottler; his brother Roman Gales; his sister-in-law Joy Gales of Glenview, Ill.; his sister Kathy Baker; his brother-in-law Daryl Baker of Algona, Iowa; and his sister Mary Lou Lane of Algona, Iowa.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
