He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Ehrecke and Ella M. Ehrecke (Proske); and his brothers-in-law, John VanMaanen and Jim Green. He is survived by: his wife Julie Puck of Anthony's Catholic Church; his children, Danielle Waters (Dustin) of Ankeny, IA and Vaughn Ehrecke (Jordan) of Dixon, IA; his grandchildren, Olivia Waters, Zane Waters, Cael Ehrecke and Piper Ehrecke; his siblings, Frank Ehrecke (Lori) of Davenport, IA, Christine Green of Long Grove, IA, Kathy VanMaanen of Viola, IL, Anne Hunter (Mike) of East Moline, IL and Beth Ehrecke of Davenport, IA; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Joanne Puck of Dixon, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Marshall (Mitch) of Lowden, IA, Lori Imming (Dave) of Blue Grass, IA and Jill Puck of Blue Grass, IA.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blue Grass Community Center (232 E Orphed St, Blue Grass, IA 52726).
Memorials may be made to the family for an education fund.
